    I generally don't use the loops either. Left them off my Tewksbury Tank.

    I dont use the sporron loops for my belt, as it has loops for the sporron straps

    I have them but I rarely use them. It is too much hassle to put the belt through the loops.

    Thanks for the advise all. My concern was for my sporran strap, as I never put my belf through the loops. I've given it a try, and don't think the sporran will slip. If need be I will put the strap over the buckles as suggested. One good thing about the lack of loops; I don't like weaaring a sporran while driving. the lack of loops makes putting the sporran on after exiting the car easier and quicker.
