it was originally planed to have scroll work done on it, but the guy that used to work for my pops, He was a master scrollsawer and he got a rare disease from the vibratory motion of it. rare because it usually only shows up in women who have been working for years and years on a sewing machine. (you all better watch it!)

but he is also giving me a book he special ordered with like 200 pages of different Celtic knot work designs and he wants me to paint it with some fancy knot work.

the down side of this all is, the cleaning of my room. I have almost 3 pounds of junk in trash bags now. and I am only 1/4 of the way through it. problem with me is, I am very neat, I know how to pack things in neatly and then never throw them away.

but. he has read through this topic and he really does thank you guys for what you have said. He, like most artists like to know that people like their work. and I myself was surprised with it because I've never seen him build anything with only a 640x480 black and white pencil sketch to follow.

    thanks
    ~Casey

Casey, instead of painting the knots, you should see if the guy could teach you to do the scrolling. Yes it takes a steady hand and patience, but it is not hard work. Practice and practice. I know you can do it.

well I do know how to use the scroll saw, I'm just not that great at it.
I've also never gotten the board lengthener to work, you know the machine you put the board in when you cut too much off

I am really getting excited, tomorrow it comes home and finds a home in my bedroom!

I am going to be doing a short kilted video. I am thinking history of tartans or something, anyone has any good ideas. let me know, but I am going to film it all in my room sitting in my new throne!
