Where do you come up with all these paths off the beaten path, Derek? Does every little trace in Wales have a pub at the end? One certainly gets that impression from your travelogues.

Derek - you obviously treat walking as I used to treat rugby - It's a way of building a thirst for the pub at the end!!

Here in Utah there are no pubs at the end of any hike. One must seek them out and become members

Ah! So that's what you've been up to recently!

I am spending he weekend entirely on my own and, as the rain has finaly stopped and the sun has finally emerged, I am gardening like there's no tomorrow! Everything has become so overgrown and untidy - I have been ashamed of it for weeks.
