Those long night shirts look like a good option. I think there is also the possibility of severe static build up with poly and wool together in the former option.
A riddle.....
What have kilted men taken many off, but never put any on?

Freedom, protection, and completely unbifurcated! Two pair arrived today and I tried them out. A few more will be put on order.

OK, so which is worse:
1. Someone does a kilt check and sees your bare a**
or
2: Someone does a kilt check and sees your slip, excuse me a "kilt liner"

Ummmm....well....gee....shuffle.....ummm...I have three black cotton "underkilts" that I wear often to keep my hand sewn kilts "protected."
I like them a lot. The company that made them seemed to have problems delivering the product after they took other folks money a few years ago. Can't recall the name of the outfit but they were up in the Seattle area and seemed to specialize in "out there" garments for men.
Anyhow, I was lucky enough to get in early when they were still delivering. I like the cotton ones I have. Don't know that I'd like the feel of this material or the price.
And, I will admit to spending "some" time on the Internet looking for jumbo size women's cotton slips that I might adapt for the purpose.
What I like is the concept of maintaining "freedom" while offering "protection."
And, I suppose for some that find wool itchy, they'd provide a way to wear wool kilts without feeling tortured.
The concept is sound. The world awaits a functional product from a reliable source.
Giggle if you must...but I risked and found "underkilts" to provide an easily washable way to protect my kilt investment from myself while still leaving me with a feeling of freedom and some extra warmth in cold weather.

Okay, found the Underkilt website. Don't mean to steal the thread, guessing we're on the general topic of underkilt/kiltskirt type accessories.

Its still up on the Internet but from past posts a while ago, be cautious with this vendor.
Ironic, that such a sound concept meets with giggles from kilties. Much like a panted man's reluctance to try a kilt, then loving the freedom, I was reluctant but found they work well. Imagine the polysatin ones do too...though I wonder if polysatin against wool would cause some "slippin' and a slidin'?"
