As for the proposed cruise: I should like to suggest a Mediterranean cruise - it would be less expensive for us Europeans than travelling all the way to North America!! I am thinking of the savings that could be put into my Kilt Fund!

A bit more expensive for those of us across the pond BUT that is exactly what my partner wants to do.

This has a lot of possiblities....... It should be scheduled about 6 to 8 or more months out, to allow planning.

Wow! I post a pondering and people are already proposing dates.
This wouldn't even have to be a special interest cruise, although that would certainly be possible. It could just be a group of us all taking the same cruise. If we decided to do something like this, it would be best to reserve things as a group, as you get price breaks by doing this.
I've already got my trips planned through 2008, so that's out. Although one of my trips is a Caribbean cruise in February. If anyone wanted to take the same cruise, it would be fun meeting up with the other kilted gents.
