My Doyles are from Brooklyn, NY and County Cork before that.

As for Yorktown, have you been by there lately? They've redone the waterfront by the bridge to Gloucester and they even have a schooner where you can cruise the York. I swear I don't work for their tourism board. I just grew up thinking of the as Colonial Williamsburg Lite, and was impressed.
