I have always loved the northern part of Arizona, and that kilt makes me like it even more. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.

Very nice looking kilt to compliment the wonderful Arizona scenery Ron. I've got a little over two weeks before I'll be down to soak up some of that scenery when I visit my sister and brother in the Valley and Holbrook. Got the Arizona itch!

BTW I agree about the way the Isle of Skye picks up the color.

Keep the kilt swinging in sunny Az.

    Hey Bill,

Maybe some of those desert kilties will have a kilt night while you're here.

    Perfect kilt weather down here...

    Hi Ron!

Seems I'm still having problems with using the advanced mode to reply or start posts. can't use the private messaging either. (so if a Mod catches this HELP!)

Now then with that said an impromtue kilt night sounds like fun! I'll be down the 29th Nov. to the 9th Dec. but will only be in Mesa at each end of the trip. The Majority of my time will be spent in Holbrook at my Sisters'. Her church is having a Kirkin' O' the Tartan on the 30th it will be her first Kirkin' and her first exposure to live Bagpiping so it's something I don't want to miss.

My only problem is that I am dependant on others for getting around but if the logistics can be worked out it would be great.

Let me know what you Arizona folks think.

Since your PM isn't working....not looking real bright. Holbrook is a long way from Page. Its about 3 1/2 hours just to get down to Hopi and guessing another couple hours from there. Arizona is a large state.

So very cool about the Holbrook church doing the kirkin on St. Andrew's day. Wish I could make it down there but I'm working until 5. The weekend after my lady's on call at the hospital in Hopi.

Guessing you might have better luck rendezvousing with the Phoenix area rabble.

    Dang!

    Hi Ron

Your guess is as good as mine with what's going on with my forum capabilities only the quick reply is working evidently. I wasn't aware that reception of PM wasn't working either. I just sent an e-mail off to Admin. so pehaps we'll get it fixed.
Until then unless I can e-mail the quick reply is my only comunication.

As to a rendevousI knew it would be a tough one because of the distance but hope springs eternal. Due to my eyesight I can no longer drive so as I said I'm relying on the kindness of others to get around. I'm an ex-Arizonian and havn't forgot how darn far apart everything is down there nor the extremes of weather one can experiance from North to South. Hopefully something can be worked out from the southern rabble. How about it guys?
    Stay in touch!

    Slainte'!
