I'll have to look into those. Sometimes I like the look of two different earrings, like a black pearl in one ear and a gold piratish hoop in the other. Two of the same might be best in this case. Thanks for telling me.

Ted I have seen some very nice celtic knot earrings at the Scottish games we were at in October.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

They sure do; I have one and I've seen boatloads of them at Celtic fests. Mine looks like Gman's avatar.
If they outlaw guns, can we go back to using swords?

Sounds pretty cool. I'll have to read up on which earrings go best with a kilt look. Although, I would guess that you could accessorize like with a kilt pin and so on based on a theme. Like a Scottish theme or Navajo, or what ever just so it all goes together. Thanks.

Well, they probably weren't looking at that part of your anatomy.
Here's the American Red Cross rule for tattoos:
Wait 12 months after being treated for syphilis or gonorrhea.
Oops that was the rule about donations from Marines. Here's the one about tattoos:
Tattoo
Wait 12 months after a tattoo if the tattoo was applied in a state that does not regulate tattoo facilities. This requirement is related to concerns about hepatitis.
Acceptable if the tattoo was applied by a state-regulated entity using sterile needles and ink that is not reused. Only a few states currently regulate tattoo facilities, so most donors with tattoos must wait 12 months after tattoo application before donating blood. You should discuss your particular situation with the health historian at the time of donation.
Best regards,
Jake

Ron for a small town you seem to have more encounters than I do down in metro Phoenix. Where did you earn all this good karma?

Very cool encounter Ron, thanks for letting us now about it, today we have had some less than stellar weather, I'm in my Maple Leaf kilt, not a word from anyone, and I just got home from Wal-Mart.

Ten gallons
That is impressive!
Way to go!
I'm only at 23 pints! Of course for several years I was listed as a malaria carrier and they didn't want any of my red stuff. Plus, I'm a universal donor - O+

Another splendid example of the power of the kilt.
