That's a beautiful kilt. The selvedge was a nice touch! I had a double take at the photo of sewing the buckles. I wondered, "Where are these folks with all that green grass out side?" I had to look at the profile. So Cal must be nice! You know NH - Live, Freeze, and Die.
Congrats, I know I shouldn't be envious, But I am!

Nice Kilt!
Nice Kilt Jamie.
I have the X-marks tartan made in a box pleat by Matt Newsome. It has 10 pleats across the back. I'm guessing yours has more.
Is that the difference with a military box pleat?
Also, your shirt goes well with the Kilt. I have found it difficult to find blues that go well with the X-Marks tartan. Have others found this also?

Very nice Jamie. It look like W2F did wonderful work there.
Just one question though....In the pics with you wearing the kilt what happened to that lovely MAROON selvedge? You need to work a bit harder to show that off.
