The kilt looks great on you, and you accessorize it well.
Please iron the pleats, though! It may just be from the shipping, but it looks like you've just worn the kilt on a long car trip!
I had to drive about an hour to a Burns Supper last night, and wore my kilt for the trip. I'm afraid I probably had my fair share of wrinkles by the time I got there!
On another note, isn't the cloth in this tartan super nice? I really enjoyed working with it. It holds a pleat very well.

Aye, Matt. I does have a great feel. I'll break out my new mini steamer and take care of those wrinkles today!

Very nice kilt. I often wear cable sweaters with my kilts.
Pleated to Sett? I have only seen Matt pleat to stripe on box plats. Looks different, but good.

If you don't mind my asking, how wide are those pleat reveals?

Yep.
I have my St. Patrick tartan kilt without the box pleats. Looks different to me, but still looks great! What weight would that Tartan be? I know mine is the 13 oz.
Just wondering.

This cloth is 16 oz heavy weight, and I believe I made th epleats 3" wide at the hip.

Thanks for the motivation. The kilt looks great. I've got 8 yds. of that waiting to be made for a couple years now. Now seems like a good time to start so it's ready by St. Patrick's day.
