Honestly Turpins sporrans are the perfect modern sporran for a traditionalist like myself. The custom pockets he can create are perfect for all the junk we carry today. I know SWK's"cargo" sporrans are popular and I think they are great but I don't really see myself wearing one. This sporran is the perfect compromise. Traditional style and modern usability.

I am sure this won't be my only one.

I'm really proud of mine. I find the key fob very handy.

Turpin taught me a trick with mine when I was in Atlanta recently. If, when you're cinching the top of the sporran, you wrap the ties around each other twice rather than once, they hold it closed better.

Oh wow! That is fantastic. I love all the compartments. The key ring holder and card slot are particuarly good ideas.

Hope you're feeling better by the weekend, Chef. That's a beautiful sporran.

You've inspired me to get Turpin to start on a sporran for me...black deer-tanned cowhide with a separate fur flap (badger or skunk...).

Can't wait to see yours (and your IoS) Saturday!

    Another beautiful piece of work.
I have got to get a move on, and cut some tartan to send to Turpin along with my order for a brown TCS.
