    Thorfinn Sporran

After a year or so and two NightStalker Nylon Sporrans, I deciced to get a handmade leather sporran. I was intrigued by Turpin's products with the multiple pockets and compartments inside, so I contacted him. The result is what you see here.

It's two toned, black Buffalo and dark brown Elk leather. To top it off, I bought black and brown braided straps from RKilts. After one day of using the leather straps, I find I really like them. I can't recommend them hightly enough.

I also bought brown and black sporran hangers from Cavscout, but haven't used them yet. They are too long for casual, hip-hugging kilts. Now that the weather is changing, it's time to bring out the traditional style kilts and try the hangers.

Here's a shot of the inside, with the custom made pocket for my Treo, pocket knife, chapstick and business cards.

I'm really impressed with both Turpin's and Robert's workmanship. Thanks guys!

Looks great! I have been looking at these and I am very impressed with the interior pockets. I may need to make the leap.
