Over apron is done, with a generous inner pleat and 1.5" tapering.
Here are pleats 3-5 ready to stitch down.

Just got all the pleats sewn in, but several aren't quite up to specs, so I'll be ripping them out and resewing them. I'm in no hurry, and with all those tiny little stripes getting the pleats sewn just right is a must. I'll post a photo when the resident kilt inspector gives it the nod.
This is why I'll NEVER try to do this commercially!
