Hey, at least you are content! And that does seem like a really, really, really cool idea.
I am very much the 'live off the land' sort.
I still write snail mail letters to everyone and seal them with wax and a personal stamp and everything.
But........ even I am tempted by that.

I like the idea of the Kindle. I just wish they weren't subsidizing it by raising the price of mass market paperbacks.

hey that's pretty cool......at first I just thought it was some sort of device you could read e-books on......but noooooo...it's wireless...you can buy and then read instantly.....neaaaaaat.

Jennifer, the increase in the cost of mass market paperbacks is due to the increase in the cost of ink, a petroleum based product. Contrary to what some people may think, publishers don't make a lot of money on each book sold.
