Personally, I prefer good old fashioned paper, or books on tape/CD.

Well, I certainly feel the layout of this device lends itself FAR more to tradtional reading than an audio book.

Jennifer, the increase in the cost of mass market paperbacks is due to the increase in the cost of ink, a petroleum based product. Contrary to what some people may think, publishers don't make a lot of money on each book sold.
