Uh, it is a school prom, correct? Usually weapons are not allowed on school campuses...at least where I live.

yes yes yes, I have a sgain... and it is a prom. and NO I won't be taking it to prom. I just wanted to grab some pics of my formal look. My sgain is part of that formal look (when I am not at school)

Have you considered just a sgain handle? Clear it with the school first, but, nice shaped wooden handle and most people wouldn't know. But then most wouldn't know if you don't want to raise any issues and go without.

Lookin' good!!! I'll second what the good Sister said. Try bottle green hose or you can also go with either Lovat Green or Lovat Blue. Any combo will look super. One note, leave the sgian dubh at home.

I have a "safety" sgian. Looks like a regular one, but instead of a sheath, the wood from the handle continues down to form a "blade" - but without a blade. You couldn't even use it as a letter opener. Here's an example

Boy, my prom I wore white pants, and a peach colored sports coat, this was during the height of the TV show Miami Vice, and the prom was in California, I was the only one that broke away from the all black or all white tuxedo. Now I am dating myself.
