After making several box-pleats in both light and heavy materials I have to agree with the experts above...save the box-pleat project for a piece of heavy material and knife-pleat your BW. Jiggle the pleat widths and counts so that you use all of the available fabric.

They even have weathered macnaughton.... but it's in 10-11 ounce weight. *sigh*
