    OK, I'm game.

A free Wool Blanket Shirt to any moderator that walks into our shop on the 28th between 6:45AM and 7:15AM on the day in question.

For sure! June 28th would be just bonnie! As I don't live near a Mod, I shall take
    myself
out to dinner and toast their good health.

We peasants are mere toe-jam beyween the Mod's toes; we are not worthy!

Yeah, I was saved from the frozen wastelands of the north to simply wind up in the heat of the deserts of India. My poor kilts have never been the same...

Actually, shouldn't EVERY day be moderator appreciation day?
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Perhaps we could all just stop being such a pain in the A$$ for 24 hours to honor them...

    Naaaaaah... That would NEVER work.
