    These are dead simple to make, using moccasin leather from Tandy. To build confidence, you can make them first out of felt, then use that as your pattern.

    I got a call back from Arrow Mocs and they will correct the thong error. In the meantime, I pulled out a couple of long black thongs from my 'bag o' thongs' that I got at the hobby store to try out the shoes with some moggins. The shoes are comfortable and airy!

    The soft leathers generally used for moccasins will eventually stretch to accomodate your foot, so making them in different widths is not a necessity. For the same reason, it often makes sense to order mocs in a size smaller than your usual, because of the all-but-certain stretch.

    Wet 'em, put 'em on, wear 'em until dry, and they'll fit perfectly...!
