I don't thing the games around here have that...maybe we can start...first I need to learn how to use it...

But serisouly, those fighters were awesome. They were really going at it!

The younger guy, Danny, he's the combat trainer for us. I challenge him (and lose) all the time. The great thing about the guy is that after he kicks your behind, he takes the time to tell you how he did it and teach you how to defend yourself against it.

You must have missed the Triad games in Greensboro last May. . . The SCA put on a magnificent show! You might also check out what's on the list for Waxhaw in October.

I've only been to the Loch Norman games, I meant to go the Mint Hill, but things came up.

The SCA out here has "War" in full armor, but it is pre-kilt period. Some do still wear the belted plaid though...
