My living history group on the news!

    http://www.kidk.com/news/27063919.html

Click on the Video link. There's some good sword play in there, and you get to see our blacksmith and weavers in action. I'm not in it- I missed the festival in favor of saving money to go to the next one- so don't look for me. Although you do get to see my buddies Curt and Danny in action!

Cool. I thought they said sheep toss at first.

The bagpipes make me they're so shamanic.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

That's good, Nighthawk. Keep your fingers streight. Good luck.

Since I got my new chanter a week ago, I've been reteaching myself the scale. That way, I don't have to go in completely clueless.

You know, back in college, I had a chanter. I would take it back in the practice rooms and jam with the jazz dudes. If you have a plastic reed, you can really play between the cracks on the chanter by itself. You'll also turn blue and pass out if you're not careful.

Disclaimer: all of that is horrible advice, so don't take it.

Done... and done. Already started turning blue. On the other hand, I still sometimes play my bass until my fingers bleed, so I'm hardheaded that way!
