My wife, youngest son and I were one of a number of folks wearing Fraser kilts (only my wife in those photos, though) all three different colours and shades! I thought it peculiar on the day too!
As far as I was aware there wasn't a Fraser mini-gathering, just mere coincidence!

McClef lookalike? Impossible I say!
These guys look like Jamie McSporran of the now alas defunct sporranclan (with the camera) and Bill my guide friend from Stirling Castle though.

Yes it looks like there were far fewer kilts than last year but the weather doesn't look as sunny and hot.

Could just be that there are such a variety of Fraser tartans. I have a Fraser line of ancestry but I do not yet have a Fraser tartan kilt as I am not sure which of the several tartans would be the most appropriate.

Reason: Concerns about being hassled by identiifying a family member.

The Phillipino lady in an ancient dress Fraser Kilt above the title "Waiting for Scocha to play again" is my darling wife, Rexie!
Wow, Bruce, it really is a small world! So I have probably met you already without realising you were on x-marks.
