That's one great looking kilt with good advice on the label.
A kilted Celt on the border.

So now that I have worn my Alphakilt several times, I figured it was time for a review.
I took the kilt out of the box, and it fit perfectly. I wear the kilt lower than traditional, but not quite as low as jeans. The kilt closes with 5 snaps and feels very secure. It hangs well, and wrinkles very little after sitting. The multiple layers of fabric in front has an advantage of hanging down when sitting without having to push down the apron. The fabric is heavy and somewhat stiff, but I think it will soften a bit after a wash or two. So far I have nothing negative to say about this kilt.
Here's a couple of pics to show some details.

What do you think of the fasteners?

That is one smart-looking kilt. I hadn't heard of Alphakilts until seeing this thread, and I have to say that I just might be saving up to snag one; the piggy bank still won't talk to me after getting my mits on a UK Survival back in June or so.
The closure looks pretty good. Does it stay closed well? Any problems with your apron flying?
Also, does anyone know if an Alphakilt can be worn on the hips instead of the waist? I'm pretty active, and it just feels way too constrictive to wear a kilt at my waist, which is why I haven't bought any other kilts that I've seen lately.

This looks like a really superb value for money casual kilt. I like those stud fasteners, do they click together positively?
One to wear with pride.

This kilt does stay securely closed. The snaps are very effective. The apron is actually pleated underneath the outermost flat part, so actually about 7 layers of fabric. It stays down quite well. If you notice, I wear my Alphakilt at mid rise. Not as low as jeans, but not as high as a traditional kilt. It works for me. I believe you can order any length you like from Daron.

Nice kilt! And I've got the same Skechers boots. They fit my feet out of the box (BIG plus!) and they're super comfortable and reasonably light for a lugged sole boot. Good choices all around!

I like these boots too. I wanted to get Doc Martens, but Doc's are notoriously horrible in snow and ice. No traction. So I found these at the local Famous Footwear store. Dig em.

I really appreciate the close-ups because I like to see the commercial kilt construction techniques. Thanks for the pics, and enjoy!
