We just returned from the Shamrock pub, I know it's Irish, but it's the best I can do. Those MacNeils went back and forth between Ireland and Scotland so I guess it's okay.
An Irish pub in Chengdu. It's a small, small world. (Now I hope everyone has the song stuck in their head )

There are quite a few Tibetans in Chengdu. Perhaps you could get your husband started wearing a chuba, the long Tibetan robe/coat that is quite warm and comfortable in the winter (even more comfortable than a kilt), or perhaps some traditional Chinese unbifurcated garment, and then move on to the kilt.

I was surprised at how well my straight-laced brother took to wearing a sarong in Bali.

You never can tell what will rock some one's world.

Going back to Scotland is just a long jog and a short swim west of you... or a long swim east. Welcome to Xmarks!
