I lost my cool
:x I had a situation yesterday where I lost my cool.:x
I'm standing outside a hair salon, speaking with the manager about work she wants done to her premises, she's a nice lass who seemed pleased to see me turn up in a kilt.
Then two big redneck guys walk past and one said "I hope you're wearing something under there".
Well I've heard this countless times, but this time, when I'm speaking with a client, well I was annoyed.
What right did he have to speak to me in such a way?
I just replied (angrily) "don't be so rude, I'm speaking with a lady". flippin idiots they were!!!
I guess I was more annoyed 'cos they interrupted my conversation with something which is none of their business, I wish I'd had a chance to educate them properly.
I know, I know, that's all part of wearing the kilt, I'm used to it. But just once in a while, I get caught off guard.
