Good question! The company we're using does NOT emboss their belts as standard (just the "pebble grain brown leather"), HOWEVER, we've asked them to look into embossing these for us.

The answer to your question is 'I don't know yet'. Once I get the digital images of the embossing, and give it the thumbs up / thumbs down, I'll let you know.

Agreed... that's why we've ONLY sold black up to now. Since we're moving into the "brown accessories", We have to give people the option to match the full set, so we're getting a few of each (sporrans, belts, brass buckles / brown straps, brass kilt belt buckles, etc).

Sounds like the Wizard is trying to corner the market on brass buckles...

I hope the wash test worked out on the brown leather straps.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

The test proved fine... No bleeding.

We're going to plan B on the belts. The belts only came in pebble grain which didn't look "right" with embossing.

We are having our current BLACK belt maker do a batch in brown, using the same knotwork we have on our current belts. We're also getting a few "Highland Swirl" kilt belt buckles in brass as well.
