Retro- I have been reviewing some older threads and one states: Business/chruch dress suggested for gents (daywear if in Highland dress).
There are some photos in another thread that show semi-formal dress, no PCs that i saw on quick glance.
Perhaps Spartan can enlighten us if All Saints has specified type of dress.
Regards,

Personally, I'm wearing a PC.
I've been to one other Kirkin' (see picture). It was for the local Scots Club. People were in non Highland with perhaps a sash or scarf, to casual kilt, to formal. In this case will be regular Sunday church time and most will probably be in regular attire.
Here's the deal. I retired from the parish where the pic was taken, and am now doing part-time at All Saints' PHX. Since I'm the new kid, I got the draw to preach this Sunday. What they didn't realize is that they were asking someone with Celtic roots, who would show up in appropriate attire. So, I'm wearing the PC before and after the services. It will be a surprise to the parishioners! It will also give me an entry to wear the kilt to other events.
Dress as you feel comfortable! PC's are welcome and I would enjoy the company! The more the merrier.

Thanks, Frank, good to know. If you are in the pulpit, I'll have to make the extra effort to get there. And now I'll know who to look for. (Judging by your photo, you must be very fast when giving out communion.)

If you're goin' PC, Spartan, I'll go PC, too (Seems the "PC" thing to do). Just wish the forecast was for a bit cooler weather Sunday; a high of 84 is a bit warm for the full formal get-up, but at 10 in the morning it should be tolerable.
After I posted my last note, I found a few Kirkin' o' the Tartan videos on YouTube & PCs were a fairly common sight (though the services were at kirks back East where they tend to be more formal than us casual, laid-back Westerners).
I'll be lookin' for you guys this Sunday - I'll be the guy in the kilt!
(Sorry, couldn't help myself...)

Well then, I'll be the one with purple hair and beard- oh no, that's my avatar. Um, I'll be the one who is not in PC- cuz I don't have- yet!

Hmm, I suppose I could throw on the PC getup too. I've never worn it during the day..which leaves me to think, Bow tie or four-in-hand?

Your choice. I'll be in black shirt and clerical collar. BTW, my wife will be wearing a Clark Tartan sash as in avatar.
This should be fun. Sounds like a photo op.
