I called Gordon last week about the BW - The set is at the most 3" - he thought just under the 3". I am finishing off a kilt in the Lindsay that he had posted awhile back. It is a nice material for a light-weight kilt.

I made a 6-yard kilt in that Lindsay, and it came out really nicely, even though I had to hem it since I'd used the selvedged edges for my "X-Skirt" prototypes. I really like this kilt, and I'm sure you'll like yours, too.

Deals on fabric
I just ordered a good amount of tartan fabric from Gordon at F&K.
It was shipped the same day I ordered it, how can you beat that?
The price was so good that the Mrs. said get me some too! So I bought even more.
This means that my love for the plaid has now attached itself to my better half.
We just need to find a tailor as I am not willing to try to make one myself at this point.
Thanks for the post.
BTW there was still some Blackwatch on the site, last time I checked it out.
