well that's the thing~ I've recently taken delivery of an 8 yard, McLaren Weathered Strome, handmade one from Stewart Christie in Edinburgh, as well as a made to measure Braemar and waistcoat, and some ghillies. This all took a bit of saving up for, and convincing the other half that buying another kilt at the moment would be a necessary purchase will take some doing. Might have to pace myself a tad.

Congrats! SWK heavyweights are a steal and Jerry's service is... well... legendary! I've got the MacRae and Green shadow heavyweights and dig them both.

Both of my kilts are SWK standards. The customer service is legendary. You won't be disappointed. One is the Standard Royal Stewart and the other is a custom Stewart hunting in the standard style. I have not been let down on either. Both came before I expected them, the custom he quoted me 8 weeks minimum and it came from the time the money was transferred 6 weeks to the day.

You definitely can't go wrong with Stillwater for service. If you were to look up customer service in the dictionary, there should be a picture of Jerry next to it. Also, for the the money, you won't find a better looking or fitting kilt on the market. Stillwaters are my go to knock about the house or around town kilt. I only put on the wool for special/formal events.

I think you will be most satsified with your purchase!

By the way, is it there yet?
