It's amazing how many movies you can spy a kilt or two.

I haven't made a list from my DVD collection but looks like I should.

Here's one that came to my mind though:

    Tea With Mussolini.

Not a real great movie, but the was a kilted Viking in The 13th Warrior. ANd now it's not that odd, viking was a job description, not an ethnic one.

I seem to remember seeing Scotty in a kilt, but can't recall if it was in the TV show or one of the movies.

"Battle of the Sexes". A Peter Sellers comedy circa 1959. I haven't seen it in a long time so I'm trying to remember if they were kilted or not but the significance is the plot. It's about a fabric and tartan supplier in Edinburgh that is being modernized and Sellers and crew are mortified by the change. All the XMTS kiltmakers should enjoy it. It's not a slapstick but I did enjoy the characters.

He wore a Scott Black and White (or Sir Walter Scott) tartan kilt and fly plaid as part of his dress uniform in "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" and "The Savage Curtain", but he was wearing a regular Starfleet uniform (with trousers) when he played the bagpipes in The Wrath of Khan. He also had a very large Royal Stewart kilt (or something) hanging up on a wall in his quarters in "By Any Other Name".
