Do you mean your left or our left? In other words are you holding the Saltire or the Rampant Lion?

Yes, Matt's hose are Castellated Argyle hose. The operative word is 'castle' because, well, they look like little castle towers! As Matt said, Skye Highland Outfitters sell them, and I do as well. (Probably the same supplier.)

Having now seen so many pictures of Matt, I actually recognised his knees before I recognised the hose!

It looks like Lindsay to me, but it could possibly be Stewart of Atholl. Lindsay is crimson, blue, and green. Stewart of Atholl is red, black, and green. Things get complicated when you get into different shades. For example, the House of Edgar produces a Stewart of Atholl Muted tartan with a shade of red very similar to the crimson of the Lindsay. The important difference is whether the smaller stripes are blue or black. If they're blue, it's the Lindsay tartan. If they're black, it's the Stewart of Atholl tartan, unless there are three black stripes (not two) on the red check, in which case it's the Kerr.

This is a fairly true representaion of the colours maybe slightly darker.

This is a wee bit highlighted by the flash, the tartan flung in is a Lindsay?

It is Stewart of Atholl. The bottom tartan in the bottom picture is Lindsay.
