I bought a thrifty from the closeout page; it runs a bit large in my opinion. At the price I couldn't pass it up.

Yeah, I'd say the Thrifty's seem to be about bang on for the real measurement. Just make sure you're getting the accurate measurement, and not a trouser size, and you should be good to go.

And with the relatively easy addition of extra velcro if needed, or Jerry's exceptionally speedy exchange, there seems to be little risk.

Thrifty's are great for "hanging out" kilts where you don't really care if they're all that fancy, or even get messed up beyond repair.

I wouldn't try to wear one with a Prince Charlie outfit mind you, but for casual wear, especially in warm weather, I think they're great!

I just got my very first kilt - a Thrifty from SWK. Arrived on Wednesday and worn yesterday all day.

It is a tad on the large size - I might have stepped down one size but I can live with it - at the price there can't be any complaints at all! Fastest shipping time of anything I have ever ordered online in my life - Jerry must be using Santa's Elves in the off-season!

    Regards,

    Moon

I hear they are highly-trained flying squirrels.

I've tried leaving them snacks hoping to catch sight of one, but they are very focused on their work and are off again too quickly to see.
