We love your husband. It's permissible to keep him. That's a good-looking kilt, too.

We have spent most weeks apart for our two years of marriage (as his job was going to lay him off immanently 4 years ago, and at this point his last day is in Sept) So when he was going to be laid off, I took a (high paying) job in a near by city (where near by is 210 miles away). We are very much looking forward to living together more than just weekends, holidays and vacations.

I feel your pain. I used to refer to my trips home as my "conjugal visits" since they were far too short, far apart, and mostly at the whims of the wardens. We've been doing this about 4+ years. I hope it's not as long for you and your husband. Thankfully, I now get to reverse the situation and in a month will start to spend more time at home and "visit" work when necessary.
