    I'm just following instructions

I had a few set backs last month (my car decided to cost me a small fortune in parts), and we are currently paying mortgages on two homes, but the other house is in escrow. Before my husband ran off to his work out of town this week, he measured me for the Alt Kilt Punk Kilt (http://www.altkilt.com/node/150). I said we didn't have the money -- and he said to either buy it, or stop longing for it.

So I ordered it. Classes start in 5 weeks, so it might arrive in time for the beginning of the semester.

And now the waiting begins........ (and I now have an extra reason to worry about the house falling out of escrow).

And I'll post pics when it arrives!

    Cheers
    Chris

Congratulations, Crboltz, and hope your other house sells soon.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

You know, I had a little shock there for a second, because the way that my text wrapped across the screen, it said, "Before my husband ran off..." and then I had to jump to the next line to find out that it was only off to work. I was wondering where your story was going, but I'm relieved to find out that it was that you had no choice but to order a kilt to comfort you while you're a work-week widow. But as for the other house, well, one kilt, one little kilt isn't going hurt....

    Really, it's just one.

    For now.

Glad to hear you have the support of your other half who knows you so well.

    Warm regards,
    Rex.

    Rex.

That's what I keep telling myself, Rex. It is only one more little kilt, it won't hurt anything. Nice mantra, now 10 kilts later, and I can't seem to get that mantra out of my head. Thanks.

Thanks all, and sorry for causing some fear about my husband leaving me.... We have spent most weeks apart for our two years of marriage (as his job was going to lay him off immanently 4 years ago, and at this point his last day is in Sept) So when he was going to be laid off, I took a (high paying) job in a near by city (where near by is 210 miles away). We are very much looking forward to living together more than just weekends, holidays and vacations.

And looking forward to the new kilt!

Hope you and your husband get to spend more time together for the future, Crboltz... while kilted of course.
