Jamie, as to your outfit for the day.... I love it! Very, very good daywear. Some may say "nay" to the belt for daywear, but I think it looks very good.

Scotus,
Thanks for the compliment
I do believe that brightly polished chrome / silver waist plates should only be worn for evening/formal occasions. However I think that dull pewter, antique brass, and some colored enamelled ones can work with day wear. Though I'm not sure how traditional or long these types of waist plates have been around.
I think it has also do do with what other items are worn with the outfit. If one is wearing a tie then I think an antique brass waist plate is perfectly acceptable.
Cheers

I agree with what you've written here, Jamie.

I've been a Morgan afficianado since 1959, and an owner since 1967... yeah, I think they're cool.

Yes they are cool, very cool, in the literal sense. I have had three Morgans in my time and the heaters were worse than useless!

Love those pictures. The "dream" one especially.

In parts of North America Morgan owners run with the heaters on in the summer in the forlorn hope that it will somehow keep the blasted thing from overheating!
