Never mind just the bunnet, that whole look is spot on.
(This isn't a criticism, just a remark - I personally think the second photie where your sweater's tucked behind the sporran looks a lot better than the third one where it's hanging over it. I've obviously got no idea whether that was a deliberate styling choice or not, of course. )

You're in luck: it's exactly the same knot as long as it's a "square knot" bow, not a "granny knot."

I was trying two different looks. I agree with the sweater being tucked in. How about this for a bow?

The bow looks fine, I always leave my sweaters un-tucked by the way but try to keep them behind my sporran.

I think the bow needs a little work.
For one thing, when you pull the loose piece over the first loop, try making it flatter instead of bunched up. See this:
Then pull the whole thing a bit shorter than you have and trim the ends of the ribbon at the bias. The whole thing should be about 3-4" from end of loop to end of loop.

you did a fantastic job with the balmoral. I like the look of the hose too.

I wonder if I could use a steamer or iron to press out the ribbons to retie the bow or will this hurt the ribbons?
