Those really are magnificent hose. Where did you get the pattern? Did you give the pattern and the yarn to your knitter?
I have a favorite knitter (right here on XMarks), and I might want to discuss another commission.
Inquiring minds want to know.

I hope you let her know that there is a huge market here for good kilt hose.

That is my kind of color and knit. If I could only get Carol to quit those scarfs, shawls, and sweaters, and all kind of socks for herself, and make some for me.

Greetings all, 22 April, 552amMST
Many thanks to all for the kind comments. The sweetest part of the whole deal is that she only charged $30 to make them, with me supplying the yarn.
I chose Canadian made "Patons" 100% wool. I just happened that it was the only yarn available that came near the color of my kilt.
Regards aye,
T.

Wow - those are GREAT! They look nice and thick, and I love the pattern.
You got an absolute STEAL on those for $30. Please tell her I would like a pair... and I'll even pay her $35 to do them!
Seriously, with the quality I'm seeing there, she could do quite well in selling them at whatever price she wants.
