Very good fit! Please tell us where you bought your doublet.

Very briefly as I fly past:- thanks for the kind comments, I do, in fact, own a jabot and cuffs to go with the doublet but it was felt that they would make the outfit just a wee bit too formal which wouldn't quite have suited the occasion. Given that it was pretty warm that evening and the doublet came off fairly early on it was probably just as well! I seem to remember that I got the Kenmore doublet from a MacDonalds highland outfitter whose url I got through Google but don't have any other details.
Update, the url is http://www.macdonaldkiltmakers.co.uk. Very good service, highly recommended!

I can name three other satisfied customers: Romilly Squire of Rubislaw, George Way of Plean, and MacMillan of Rathdown. MacDonalds are a first rate company to do business with.

Great looking, but it seems you need a jabot and cuffs to complete this amazing look.

Also, for Creagdubh, the sporran is the correct length. It's an ex-MOD Lovat Scouts sporran, not sure whether it's officer's or OR, from which I have, naturally, removed the regimental badge. pleasantly unusual and doubles up nicely as a piper's sporran when I'm working as in my avatar pic.

I think it looks very smart, and indeed a complete outfit, very refreshing. Sometimes the jabot and cuffs look a little fussy , and just a little too preening.Well done
