Great idea, David! I'll contribute a few.
The first is evening wear. The others are all various day wear examples.

a few more examples...
Once again, nothing earth-shattering, but overall very nice in the way that different items are put together. None seem to have that "cookie-cutter" look that one frequently encounters at American Highland Games.

Anyone know more about this photo? Clan Chattan or MacKintosh Chief, looking especially nice. There was one for sale here recently.

Just for my own edification and enlightenment, what does THCD stand for?

Probably a mis-spelling...TCHD = Traditional and Classic Highland Dress...or Traditional Highland Classic Dress. Basically just a slight change and abbreviation of the forum subtitle, "Traditional and Classic Highland Apparel and Style"
Interesting to note that TCHD...or THCD, however you see fit to type it...fits what most nowadays would call "semi-formal" or "dressy business casual", or the like.

Ah-ha. I figured it was something along those lines.
Most of the time I qualify for this label, but I'm at work and can't access Photobucket to post any of my own shots.

Not a mispelling. It's the abbreviation I use for "Traditional Highland Civilian Dress", to differentiate from Highland military apparel.
See this thread for an earlier discussion of the subject:
