The main thing that I'm getting from this pic is that, seeing the Hoff in a tartan I was considering for my 1st kilt (I believe it's Scotland Forever), I've definitely changed my mind...

dont let the Hoff waste a tartan for you
i say buy your kilt in that tartan and show the world how its meant to be worn

in all fairness though the hoff may be a "ejjit" but he`s done well for himself in regards to lasting a few decades on screen it just goes to show hard work and stamina can make a man regardless of his personal demons,
i think he done well with the kilt he certainly looks better in it than some other folks trying to go the kilted way for the sake of publicity

What is wrong with how he is wearing it? Too low on the hips? It appears to me he is wearing about 2" above his (trouser) beltline... probably in line with his bellybutton.

I'm guessing if you can't see knee, it's either too long or being worn too low?

Hasselhoff is a tall guy. If he picked one off the rack, could be that it was this length, or something much shorter.

And I'd rather see it too low than to see the Hoff looking like a Catholic school girl with it above the knee

I'm old-fashioned I suppose, but I think a kilt looks just fine worn without a dirk belt.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. That kilt is just the thing for lying down and eating burgers off the floor.

Oh, I'm gonna spend some time in Buddhist hell for making those kinds of remarks....
