Love the matching black velvet jackets!
Very appropriate attire for visiting Stuart and his father.

I like your cravat/neckstock as well. Any good closeups of how it's tied, or other details? It's a bit hard to make out the white on white in the photo.
Sorry about the delay Matt, we have been out of the country and away from the computer which has the photograph saved on it. I'll post a close up shortly. The cravat is single thickness polly-cotton, 60" long by 5" wide and done with a coachman's knot. The ends are trimmed with Cluny lace so it can be worn in or outside the waistcoat. It's Inside on this occasion as we had been dining!
And thanks all for the positive comments. The "matching" does not look quite so glaring in real life as my wife's tartan is silk, while mine is 16oz wool.

Cravat close-up
Here is the cravat close-up:

For those not familiar with cravat knots, here is an image from the Web. The coachman's knot is in the second row and third column:

Another photograph
Another shot taken by a photographer in the castle. This was during the whiskey tasting and talk by the well-informed Regis. The other bearded gentleman is the Laird of Balgonie.

Superb!
Did anybody mention the sporran yet? I like the simplicity and historic styling. Goes very well with the shoes and the rest of the ensemble. Well done!
