I just scanned through my collection. Unfortunately, Dale is right. Most of the 'love songs' seem to deal with unrequited love, or a tragic loss of a love.
Haha this is true! Currently she is an auburn with blue eyes, but her natural hair color is a brownish-blonde. Definitely something to consider, lovely song though!

Here's me playing one of my favourites, the lovely Gaelic love song Spailpin A Ruin. A spailpin is a young man sent off to work at another's farm, a migrant farm labourer as it were. A Ruin, often anglicised as aroon, means "of my heart" as in "Peg O' My Heart" etc.

There are many in the sean nos tradition. I also really like My Laggan Love.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you.

I love Runrig's Pog Aon Oidhche Earraich (A Kiss one Spring Evening)... Arlen used to play it for me a lot back in the olden days. <3

Here's the translation of the lyrics: http://lyrics.wikia.com/Runrig:Pog_Aon_Oidhche_Earraich

That was amazingly beautiful. I do, however, think I have to find something with lyrics. I would love to learn to play the uilleann pipes, such a beautiful instrument.

"Ten years to learn, ten years to practice, and ten years to play." (and then you die of cirrosis of the liver from all the free drinks)
