Just remember to NOT try to carry it on to your flight as carry on luggage----way over the 100cc rule. There are specially designed devices just for this that a liquor or wine shipper could turn you on to. I have a couple you cloud borrow if necessary.

We have similar laws here in Kentucky about shipping in liquor by any but legitimate licensed importers. You might look into a specialty wine store to see if they could get it shipped in like some of their collectible bottles of wine---Boston should have something like that available, or at least someone should know how to get it done.

    Good luck.

I have too much work going on right now and I don't have the money to take a road trip or flight to Nebraska or LA. If some one in the Nebraska area was to agree I could paypal the money to them. They could then send it to me after I got a license from Massachusetts for receiving alcohol from a private source (non-retail). In Nebraska the two bottles there are $60something each. I have $200 set aside for this tequila plus shipping. If I buy from the one in LA it's $190 for one bottle. Also to ship from LA would ad more loop holes to jump through. It would be best to get the two bottles in Nebraska.
*sigh* I think this opportunity is going to slip away. It's sad because I have been searching for 3 years and just found these all within one week.

For example, in Oregon, it used to be that all hard liquor was purchased from the Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC). The liquor first was shipped to the OLCC warehouse, where it was inventoried and the tax stamp applied and recorded. At that point, the liquor was then delivered to a state run liquor store for retail sale.

Now days, many liquor stores here are run by a licensed concessionaire, and the stores can order directly from wholesalers, but not out of state retailers. The wholesalers have to notify the OLCC of what was ordered, by whom, and how much was shipped. They then pay the required tax to the state. So if your tequila was available from a wholesaler, it could be ordered. If it was at a retailer, you would be SOL.
