Cheap...
I think they look kind of cheap and plastic looking, personally. I think they are, in fact, leather boots (though I'm not positive that the padded collar is leather?) Personally, if I were buying a pair of brogued boots, I'd look for something like the Allen Edmonds Bayfield or the Alden 9 eyelet Wingtip Boot. I totally acknowledge that there is a HUGE price difference between what you've referenced in this thread and those two particular products, however. That being said, I don't think I'd spend $100 on these. Everybody has their own preferences though.

Well, yeah, they do look cheap, I don't think I'd buy those exact boots either. Maybe a variation on them though from somewhere else.

I believe those are the Loake Banks brogue boot What is it about them that you favour over the others?

I like the colors, combined with the fact that I can visibly see the grain of the leather. I also like that they are somewhat worn (or appear that way)... If I were to get a pair like this, they would be for casual outings. Currently I have motorcycle boots that are a little like that.

I know that Reid Kilts do them - www.reidkilts.com.
They are in the brogues section. I am going to buy a pair as i am with the Tartan army that follows scottish football. I have seen them on many of the fans going to the games and i think they look great! Ask for Peter if you decide to email Reidkilts, he's one of the most helpful people i've spoken to!

Those are made by Thistle/AE Struther. Anyone who carries Thistle shoes (myself included) can get them. I've never ordered them because no one has ever asked for them. They do look interesting!
