Just Ordered my First Kilt!

Guys, thanks for the suggestions!! I was wearing it below my navel, but I just went back & re-read the instructions on the USA Kilts website & the True Waist is just above the navel.

Yeah, so....I could probably wear it higher...like I'm supposed to...

I agree with you on the hose as well.

Yeah, it doesn't feel natural at first to wear it so high, but soon you'll find yourself hiking up your trousers to your ribs because they just don't feel right being on the hips!

Congratulations on your new kilt! I have a casual kilt from USAK too. It's real comfortable and looks great. Good luck throwing in the games too!

Just thought I'd follow up in here - I wore my new USA Casual Kilt (Campbell Tartan) at the Seaside Highland Games this weekend in Ventura, CA. The kilt performed GREAT during the games & I have to say, looked better than 90% of the other kilts on the field. I'm really happy I got the traditional waist, I wore a weight belt while throwing, which worked great with the higher waist.
