Let us not be so thin-skinned. Shed the 'tude, dude.
I don't see any racism there (take a look at any dictionary to see how racism is defined).
He probably mean cheap stuff made in Pakistan.
Let us smile and move on, else they might shut this down.

Take that back. How dare you impune all Americans, or all people anywhere. You have revealed your own bigotry. You owe us all an apology.

Look, I get it. Its the internet so you can say whatever you want.
I was just pointing out that using very racist terms about those of Pakistani origin probably isn't ok on here?
I get that the term isn't common in America, but it is here. And seeing that this is a kilt website, I'm assuming there are people from Scotland here (who may even be of Pakistani descent themselves)
And understand your attitude that people who speak out against racism are only trying to be 'PC'.
Whatever, I don't really care what you say around other people, I was just pointing out that people may be seriously offended by it.
Didn't think I would get abuse back about that

Re: Kmart's Kilted Korner
THIS IS A CASE OF 2 Countries divided by a common language.
In the UK, using the short hand phrase for Pakistani that was used on this thread is VERY racist. It's like using the "N - Word" in the UK. Here in America, we don't have the same connotations with the P word (shorthanded way of saying Pakistani).
There was no malicious intent by the original poster.

I think it was that the Americans on the forum weren't aware that it was a racist term in the UK and were taken aback by being called racists for using it.
A little knowledge on both sides and cooler heads and this thread can get back on track.
