It was Groucho Marx but who's counting. I too greatly enjoy my time here and have found a spiritual home for what I once thought was a slightly strange pursuit in liking the kilt and wanting to know more about the heritage and kinfolk of Scotland.

Well said Father Bill. I have certainly had an education here, although I have to admit I still don't understand a lot of things being said. Given time, though.....................

Very well said, Padre. As a US latecomer, Xmarks has been an invaluable educational experience.
A factor that you did not mention is the many different countries literally all over the globe represented here. I find the resultant global perspective fascinating.

This is certainly the most civil (even amongst some of the scouting forums) of the online forums that I belong to. Well done indeed, we should celebrate with a kilted day today!

Well put Father Bill. As a newcomer I've been thoroughly impressed with the diversity and civility of the participants here. Not to mention all of the great information for someone newly kilted.

Well put, Father. Xmarks is awesome because of the Ladies, Gentlemen, and Lebowski-folk who frequent it. I particularly relish the discussions we get into; a lot of thought provoking ideas get are bandied about, rather than just a continuous stream of dull, single line answers about which retailer or what tartan. I also appreciate the humour

Cheers to you Father Bill! Cheers to all the people who make this forum a place we call our own.
