    Harold,

Kevin's Custom Canes was an importer/supplier here in the states. He's gone out of business but still has some inventory of Chestnut and Ash shanks. I'll try to find his phone number and PM it to you. The Chestnut is what I used here.

Does anyone else have a source in the states for straightened shanks or possibly a way to contact the owner of kevinscustom canes.

I am hoping to have this project done by October.

Harold, My uncle makes some like these. He has all sizes, woods. The walking sticks are $30 for the straight ones and $60 for the turned ones and the Canes are $40 for the straight ones and $80 for the turned ones plus shipping.

Kenneth if you can get me the number it would be great!

mj all I do like the one on the right that he has. I would need to know the specs of it like length, width at the widest curl, and the diameter of the top of the stick. Also has this stick been dried or is it fresh cut?
