I have no issue with buying locally, but I'm also happy to support Scottish industry.
Okay, I have to chime in here. With all due respect, this comment is unfair.
Financial situations differ, and though I'm not certain of the OP's finances (obviously), the $32 shipping charge may be too much to consider for some folks. To immediately assume an individual wouldn't want to "support the economy your kinfolk rely on to survive" is unfair, not to mention potentially embarrassing for someone who may not be able to afford it.
For some, the shipping charge may be of no consequence. For others, it may be considered exorbitant and potentially out of their reach or means at the time.

So that the OP gets to know all the MoD options of the day sporran aka barracks sporran, here is a 3rd design. It was used in a number of Commowealth countries from the 1940's to at least 1960
The one in the photo was produced in 1953

Sorry you feel that way and it's good people are willing to come to the defence of a newer member even if in this case, he seemed to be handling himself just fine.
In my defence, I was reacting to the fact that the OPs original wording was that he'd "rather keep the money in the USA". Given that he framed in the sense of which economy he'd rather support rather than the possibility of saving the shipping, you'll have to forgive me for responding as if this, rather than saving money, what his primary motivation. I simply responded based on my reading of the OP that I saw an apparent contradiction. I meant no disrespect.
In any case, Billleigj3 responded and clarified his views on the matter and the thread carried on nicely getting back to the mission of helping him find what he's after.
Billleigj3: I hope you find a marvellous sporran in your price range that serves you well for many years to come. Apologies if indeed I misread the motivation behind your original post.
