I know knee boots are mainly worn by women nowadays (and some have no idea that men ever wore this style of boot, period) but men have worn these type boots in one form or the other for hundreds of years in military and civilian roles, and as I like to do my own thing I see no reason why they can't be worn by men again.....but if you're going to wear them you've got to own it, much like wearing a kilt!! =)
    Johnnie! Welcome!

I'm new to the Kilt, but your words really resonate with me. In my short time wearing the Kilt, this has been my experience - the more I "OWN IN", the more fun I have and the better I'm received by those around me.

As for the boots, not really my style, but Brother - You are Rockin' it!.

As an aside, I'm an absolute eBay addict. I've gotten incredible deals on boots (not quite knee high ) and shoes and a variety of other goods. The only thing I consistently miss on are iPods - so I just don't buy those on eBay any more.

    Mel1721L.....

They are actually womens heathered thigh high boot socks. ....I had looked at traditional kilt socks but with my boots being as tall as they are it didn't seem there would be much, if any, of the sock showing....then I saw these and my thinking was if they are thigh high on an average woman then they should just come a bit past my knees , which they did, and as I wanted to add one more element to the overall look I bought them.....and there you have it!

    Tomfrombama,

I'm fairly new to the kilt as well....been doing the boots for quite awhile though.....everybody has their own innate style and even if the boots aren't for you the fact you can appreciate them says a lot about you in general! ! Thanks!! =)
