The tartan can be made out in the first two photos, dwg69. Is this the same black kilt you were wearing in the recent thread started by Hamish entitled Kilted House Guests?
I'd be interested to know the difference between Black Isle and Dark Island, maybe the tartan patterns are different?

Yes this is the same Kilt when I was a guest at Lord Hamish Bicknell estate

I'm grateful for a high res monitor because that kilt is amazing. The tartan pattern shows up just perfectly for me. It would make a very striking dress kilt that is for certain.

Yes The tartan pattern shows up in normal light and is quite stunning
